About me:

I am a young photographer who sees the world as her canvas. I received my first camera, and one roll of film (I feel old saying that) at a very young age. I went through the roll of film, 24 pictures I think it was, in a matter of an hour. I went outside and took pictures of everything... that is, until I ran out of film. It was then that I made quite a few mistakes... like shooting up someone's nose because I thought that the angle would be "cool", or that all-too-common mistake of failing to look at the surroundings when composing a picture (you know, the ones with the telephone pole coming out of the head). 

Since that first camera was given to me, I have developed a passion for photography. It is an a unique form of art. Photography is unique because it captures real moments as they happen, like the sunset that you will never see again, or the first steps a baby takes. One moment of time, never to be had again, captured for the ages. This stage of your baby's development only happens once. Or graduating high school, that only happens once. You are only engaged for a short period of time before the wedding, and the wedding will also only happen once. Capture this moment in time so that not only you will have it, but future generations will be able to see what was happening now, 20, 40, 60, even 100 years from now. Lifestyle photography is all about capturing the moment as it happens, how it happens, when it happens.

My motto when shooting is that, "if you don't feel great about the picture, then I am not doing my job". I love what I do, and I would hope that you love my work. Please view my gallery, and check out the blog for a peek at my latest sessions.
